My Water Moments

'Photography is my life'
Oh yes it is, some of you may be wondering, 'What makes this guy so interested in photography?'

My motive behind this hobby is, photography gives me the ability to FREEZE the best moments in my life.

Alright, let's get straight to the story,

My previous camera decided to 'mati lemas' after it fell into a pool of water in a cave at Taman Negara Pahang.
It pretty much screwed up the entire trip for me.

Before going to the trip, I was so excited. I even prepared 16 AA batteries and  3 memory cards totaling to 16GB worth of data.
I was looking forward to capturing all those quality moments but my dream shattered when my camera fail to turn on after a few hours at Taman Negara.

I had those miserable time, depending on my friend's camera to capture all those great activities we had.
Until now, I don't even have those photos in my computer.

If only I had the latest Sony TX-5, it would have been a great trip for me !

High-end Hardware

The new TX5 , comes together with the " Exmor R" CMOS sensor, BIONZ processor and Carl Zeiss®  lens.
All these hardwares are only available on the high end Sony DSLR ! It would be great to have the TX5 because I can take high quality images with it any time, any where and in any situation especially when there's water.

Capture the perfect Twilight shots

With Handheld Twilight mode, your images boast 50% less noise because the high sensitivity “Exmor R” CMOS sensor coupled with BIONZ imaging processor allows the camera to superimpose six visual frames to create a single optimised image.

My pathetic old camera would had just take the easy path when in low light, boosting the ISO to 1600, which in return produces the worst images I had ever seen ! All noise !
The TX5 truly delivers whatever I need in a compact body.

All-proof camera
The compact and durable Cyber-shot TX5 gives me the photographic power whenever, wherever

Dive in with the water-proof Cyber-shot TX5. Capture beautiful underwater shots up to 3m deep for up to 60 minutes*.

Keep on shooting even below freezing point up to –10ÂșC** with this tough camera in harsh weather conditions.

With the superb dust-resistance of the Cyber-shot TX5, you can be assured to always get spotless images whatever the environment is!

The shock-proof design of the Cyber-shot TX5 allows drops of up to a height of 1.5m*, the usual height we hold the camera for photo-taking.

The cause of my last camera's death is water ! Yeah, now, I am hydrophobic. Whenever there's water, I wouldn't dare to bring my camera close...
With the TX 5, I need not to worry all these situation. Who cares if there's water or even snow, just snap the perfect moment without any hesitation !

Sweep Panorama

The TX 5 also features a function known as sweep panorama. Just like it's name, I just have to sweep the camera across a scene to capture it.
It's an intelligent and useful features available only on the Sony HX and TX series.

With this, I do not need to wastew so much time snapping a few pictures and stitching them using Adobe Photoshop.
Everything could have been done in a single click.

Clear and sharp images in low-light environment

Low light is the number one enemy of all photographer. It will spoil everything even the best moments.
Anti-motion Blur mode uses six superimposed frames to create one single optimised image with 50% less noise. This means you are able to shoot with high ISO settings in low-light environments, reducing noise and subject blur, giving you clear and sharp images.

10 photos in 1 second

10 fps is a dream for all photographers, especially those who are involved in high speed activities.
 TX 5
capture fast actions or a moving subject in a sequence of 10 continuous frames per second. This sequence of continuous shots are also grouped to simplify playback as the camera analyses each group in order to locate and display the best shot automatically.

720p Video Recording
This is certainly an important feature not to miss. The Sony TX5 is capable of recording videos up to resolution of 1280 x 720.
I could have used it to record all the laughters and joy we had while we were " Rapid Shooting" at Taman Negara.
If you have no idea what's Rapid Shooting, here's a photo of it.

The potential of Sony TX5 truly shines here !

That's all on my water moments where my camera finally left me..
I need a new all -proof digital camera which can easily slip into my pocket and is ready to capture high quality photos in any situation .

Thanks !

Rachel Liang Wen Yin Promo Tour in Melaka

Sorry for not updating for such a long long time...

All right, here's what happened on my Sunday.
I went to Dataran Pahlawan because I heard there's an Taiwan artist coming. Well, I don't really know her name until I reached there.. Haha

I reached at about 2.30 p.m and saw there was a crowd. There's some model promoting cosmetics I guessed. Anyway, I took the opportunity to snapped some photos.

Left the place at 3pm and headed straight to Dataran Pahlwan's stage. There's so many people there..
Met with Vicky and she gave me a VIP pass, but those 'VIP' have to sit on the floor.

I had no choice but to give up on the pass and went around looking for a spot so that I can get great photos.
finally, I joined the group of photographers ( one with a big tripod) and all long long lens.

Waited there for like, more than an hour. It really sucks lolz especially when you're carrying a huge backpack and a large and heavy camera on your neck. Suffering from backache now...

Rachel Liang Wen Yin arrived on 4 something I supposed. As soon as she stepped out, everyone started shouting.
All photographer was snapping her photographs in burst mode. Even I did the same.
The worse thing is, I filled up my memory card in 10 minutes and I need to changed into a new card. =.=

I never really enjoyed the songs she sang because I was too busy snapping her photograph. But I must admit, she's good...

Here's the pictures taken:

Soon it was the autograph session. I saw one photographer went up onto the stage to get a close view of Rachel ! Lolz...
Quickly, I followed him and sneaked through the guard...

There's only 2 of us at first. but after that, more and more photrographer joined until the organiser asked ,
' Are you guys reporter?'

Apparently, there's no reporter around us and every photographer was chased down the stage. Haha...
Btw, here's a few snaps before I got down :

It was my first time covering this type of event. All I could say is it's a good experience.
Thanks for reading and enjoy yourselves !

I regretted my actions

I don't know if it's already too late to say this but it's better than never.
But I really regret what I did on Sunday...

If it's not because of my jealousy, all this things wont happen.
If it's not because of I can't control my anger, we will be talking as usual.

I know I hurt you for saying those words. Even though you did say that you had forgive me,
I know deep inside, you still care bout it.

I wish I could take back my words now...I really do...
I wish that nothing had happened before...
I am so sorry ! Sorry sorry sorry.......

It's the second schooling term

The first term holiday had over.
Now it's the second term of schooling, which means I got only 7 months left till SPM.

Besides, the results of the first test were already released.
Well, I scored pretty badly... Badly as in my result dropped from my average level. I did not revise for this time test, especially moral and chemistry. I think I could have done better.
I guess I need to stop playing around and start buckle up in my studies.
Recently, I  became more playful and concentrate less in class. It's time to be a good boy :).

I went to school today.
The reason? To receive my award for getting 2nd in the whole form last year. Sweet...It's my first time in this new school.

Gotta go now. Last but not least, please visit my forum by clicking at the sidebar image on the right side of the screen.
Hope you'll become a member.
